I want to see Madame Malin and Madeline from We Baby Bears in Friday Night Funkin' ONLINE VS.! If you haven't seen We Baby Bears, it is a spinoff of We Bare Bears. Both of which are Cartoon Network shows. If you haven't seen both of them, watch both series on HBO MAX, and then come back to me. And add the characters in the game.
the game is very good but is not working when i try making my lobby after it starts i see a timer after the timer ends it gets me out of the game of the if i join a lobby i can not drag my character to the stage and if i try doing the hank challenge it shows my status but i did not even start pls fix this
I love the Online VS engine 💖💖 Could you make it a downloadable engine? surprisingly it is the only engine that works on my PC without problems and an excellent amount of FPS, I have tried to download the base game, the Modding +, the FPS Plus and the Psych Engine but they all go to 4 FPS, only one port of the Newgrounds version I downloaded works and even that one goes under 24 FPS ;w;
I made an Itch account just so you'd have a better chance of seeing this. Anyway, I love this project and honestly think it's better than the roblox FNF games like Funky Friday and Even More FNF 2, however, I have some suggestions and bugs to report. I'm assuming that others have suggested the things i'm gonna say so i'll try and be specific.
Bugs n' Shiz
I know that you have done a lot of work on the input system and that it's a lot better than it was before but there are a few things that are a bit wonky, first of which is hold notes. Hold notes are brutal currently. Missing a hold note gives you multiple misses (which is fine) but the speed it gives it to you is way too fast. Hold notes also stay active for longer than they look, meaning that you have to hold on to the notes for much longer to make sure the last fraction of a segment slides by. This is my only real gripe with thecurrent input system because it's pretty common and is the main reason I lose my combos.
Second, hold notes sometimes turn into regular notes. I think this may be caused by a hold note being placed on the end of a section, but I don't know. This one is also pretty common but I haven't seen it have any impact of gameplay.
Third, the anti-mash system is a bit too forgiving. There's normally this extremley narrow invisible line that determines whether anti mash is too forgiving or too hard, and when playing online it feels a bit too easy where as when playing the vs Hank challenge it feels a bit too strict. If I'm being honest, it's pretty minor but there have been many time where i've been able to fc a harder song by just mashing.
Fourth, this one may be a fluke but just in case it isn't, the mall stage is very laggy.
Suggestions/Feature Ideas
First, the rating system, while really cool, is pretty lacking. I think the main problem with it is the lack of information about it. While you can see the amount of exp you get after a round, you can't (as far as I know) see the amount of exp you have, the amount you need to level up, or what the next level is. This would be helpful for new players who are trying to get the "Run of the Mill Swagger" rank so they can use custom characters.
Second, host switch on public lobbies. A vast majority of online lobbies are abandoned because the host left, I think a potential fix for this would be to make someone else in the room the host when the original leaves, and to close the server when noone is in it. I imagine that this would be hard to implement but I feel like this is pretty important.
Third, gimmick notes in online mode. This one would not only take a lot of work and probably be pretty unbalanced, but i'd love to see songs like D-side Blammed or Hellclown have their signature notes. I know that this is probably a bad idea but you already have fire notes and bullet notes implemented in the vs Hank challenge and aside from having to edit every chart, shouldn't be too difficult to add.
I'm like 90% sure you won't even see this but incase you do, please consider adding this stuff to the game, (maybe not suggestion 3) I truly think that this has to potential to be a really amazing project and I love what has been done so far. Can't wait to see more from this, thanks in advance.
